Neurologist 's  Response
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Your symptoms seem to be related to a peripheral facial nerve palsy or Bell's palsy.

I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam. As your symptoms have started gradually (from a few days with taste changes) a brain MRI may be needed.

Hope to have been helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
