Suggest Remedy For Thickened Oils In Meibomian Glands

Hello! My eye doctor has told me the oils in my meibomian glands are slighty thickened but hasnt diagnosed with a dysfunction or anything. To have the oils thin again (or have my eyelid go back to normal) do I HAVE to put warm compresses and all that? Or can I just leave it alone and it will go away with time? How long on average? Do I need to be makeup free? Appreciate your help!!

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
These symptoms indicate meibominitis.
Along with warm compression you need to use antibiotic eye ointments like Azithromyicn eye ointment, lid scrubs and warm compression and oral tablets of tetracycline will be of help.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for prescription of drugs after confirmation of diagnosis.

Thank you
