Suggest Remedy For Thinning And Soreness In The Skin Of Pubic Area
Im 55 years old, sexually active female, complete hysterectomy, and I ve noticed that my skin in the pubic area has thinned a lot, like even to bruising after sex and garnering small pockets of puss in areas that have pinched together, I recently had a bout of pneumonia and had used a lot of antibiotics causing a yeast infection and I noticed whiled treating that there were small pinholes below the labia on both sides, whats wrong with me?
Since you are post menopausal woman, you should use vaginal lubricants before sex so that you do not get bruised or hurt during rubbing, arousal or vigorous sexual activity and intercourse. Take vitamin E (Evion-400), once daily for 10 days for better lubrication and younger feel. You should take food rich in vitamin E, calcium and other minerals.
Your symptoms are indicative of lichen sclerosis, you can apply cortisone cream twice daily and be gentle with your pubic area. Take care of your hygiene. Tacrolimus ointment applied in the affected area also works well. It should get better in a week, if not you are suggested to get clinically examined by a dermatologist & get skin biopsy done to rule out any skin malignancy. Your dermatologist will tell you to do STD tests, this is to stay on the safer side. Get treated at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
