Suggest Remedy For Throat Irritation And Cough

hi Dr. I have some throat problem, there is mucus every time and it feels irritated and sometimes cough, so i went to see my doctor and he gave me waltuz-br, and some antibiotics, but i do not want to eat those tablets, so will this syrup help me or should i take the tablets as well

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The throat irritation and cough can be secondary to bacterial infection. Nothing to be panic, you can continue to use the waltuz-br syrup, this will reduce the cough but for the infection to come down, you need to take a course of antibiotics preferably Azithromycin or Ampoxin after an expert opinion. Do saline gargling.
