hi doc! i am having a bad throat since i month,it was accompanied with fever d first time, later on 22 mar again i had fever because of my throat & i took medicine twice by physicians,but now also i suffer from pain while swallowing,though i dont have fever now.doc said my throat is very sensitive &i m nt havin any cold or sour thing but still the condition is same .pls help
You may be suffering from acute viral pharyngitis with fever. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Drink warm water only. Use tablet Amoxicillin and Clauvulinic acid 625 mg for five days. Use tablet paracetamol 650 mg for five days. If fever does not improve, please do a complete blood picture, blood sugar and RBS. Please review with reports and consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
