You have taken an antihypertensive called lisinopril, that caused you the persistent coughing to the extent that the the throat is left as sore and raw. I would suggest you the following: I am sure Liisinopril must have been stooped and another treatment started and your blood pressure is under control. Yo have to get a clinical evaluation, examination and ENT Endoscopy to see the exact problem to be treated as per the visual findings. Also see that there is no any irritation that you apply, or have in the house or work lace like the fumes, scents and so on. Get a proper treatment and you will be fine.
