Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was punched in the jaw by my brother this morning and now I m feeling throbbing pain in the opposite side of the jaw mostly but all over every now and then. There is not a lot of swelling, no blood but talking hurts because i can feel the vibrations. Any suggestions on what to do?
As this might have led inflammation to the tempomandibular joint and due to which there is throbbing pain. I will advice to do hot water fermentation and don't eat hard food.
Keep the movement of the jaw to the minimum and the healing will occur. If required than pain killer can be taken.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
