Suggest Remedy For Tightness In Throat Due To Inhaling Bleach
I inhaled bleach for about a 15 minute period about 10 hours ago - my throat feels tight and my chest is very uncomfortable. I keep feeling the need to burb continually. It was a while ago now so I think I am probably ok but just wanted to double check.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your query you have symptoms of tightness in throat due to inhaling bleach which is due to inhalation of bleach fumes which could be toxic and poisonous.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take deep breaths in fresh air. You should eat light and non spicy, eat small meals frequently. Drink milk and do warm saline gargles. If condition does not get well then consult ENT specialist once and start treatment after thorough examination. You should take proper course of medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
