Suggest Remedy For Tightness In Throat Of An Elderly Woman

My mother is 59years old. She is suffering from what she says is tightness in her throat. She has a hard time eating anything cause she says it gets stuck in her throat then she coughs forever. She also in the last 5months has had memory loss and acts like she is in her own world sometimes. She has seen a Neurological doctor, nothing wrong. Has had her esophagus stretched. Dad and I don t know what to do. Can you help? Also they lost their son to suicide almost 5years ago, does she just need counseling?
