Suggest Remedy For Tingling In Left Arm

I was told that I have a strained trapezius, I am having pain in the left side from base of neck to elbow off and on very extreme. My doc put me on muscle relaxers and ibuprofen to see if that helps, but I am now having tingling in my left arm and it going to sleep if bent at elbow for more than a few minutes. My bp has been slightly elevated in the last month, my doc put me on bp meds.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
As per your explanation it looks like you may have cervical spondylitis or the cervical disc problem. So I suggest to do mri and rule it out what exactly the problem is. Then based on report do visit ortho as well as physio. Here ortho will suggest on medication and physio will work for relaxing your soft tissue and nerves with physical therapy. As well they will also guide you on exercise which will again help you to get more relief. Don't worry much it's a completely curable condition and you will be fine soon just follow the steps I have suggested. Take care.
