Suggest Remedy For Uneasiness In Nose And Ear Due To Cough And Cold

Hello,I am 29 years old. For the past few days I have been suffering from cold & cough. I frequently travel by flight and very recent travel was ridiculous. Since then (almost a week) I feel that both my ears are air tight and choked. Right side is more and its very uneasy feeling. I feel that I am talking loud, but others are unable to hear & understand. I seen that right nostril is swollen and even the right side nasal is choked up with hardly any gap to breathe.Please suggest if any medication can help getting rid of this uneasiness of nose & ear.Currently I am in Bangalore in Electronic City and new to this city, please suggest if I need to visit a nearest ENT specialist

Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history and concerns, cold and cough followed by chocking of the ears, reduced hearing, you have to travel frequently.
Fortunately you are in Bangalore, you can certainly walk into ENT clinic to get a clinical evaluation, examination and get proper diagnosis and treatment.
You certainly will need an antibiotic, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory medicines.
The swelling in the right nostril and difficulty in breathing in through the same right nose can be due to infection called furnculosis of the nose.
The same medicines will help for this too.
Try to avoid air travel till you get better or cured.
Instill decongestant nasal drops and followed by steam inhalations.
