Suggest Remedy For Urinary Incontinence, Pelvic And Back Pain After Manchester Fothergill Procedure
Thank you! Nine months ago I had a successful Manchester Fothergill procedure done vaginally, which made functional repairs: cystocele and rectocele and re suspended my uterus. I have been making good progress physically until recently harvesting my garden I am now experiencing urinary leakage and continuous pelvic and lower back pain which is keeping me resting for most of the day and restless at night. Can you suggest my next steps?
Hello and welcome to HCM. Your concern is understandable. The next step, you need to take is to see the surgeon, who operated you. He/ she will re-assess you and then decide on further treatment, most suitable in your case. An ultrasound abdomen will need to be done, along with urine routine and culture, blood sugar and kidney function tests. Pelvic floor exercises are very helpful, which should not be stopped. Wish you well.
