Hi,My name is Poornima and I am 47 years old. My height is 5ft 3inches and my weight is 80Kgs. I am in good health and do not have hypertension, am not diabetic and continue to have normal periods every month.I. What precautions should I take to ensure that my menopause is normal and I do not encounter any problem wrt Uterus. I have seen many women in their late 40s and 50s getting their uterus removed.2. I have the problem of incontinence from the past one year. I pass urine when I sneeze, cough etc. How do I stop this ?Thanks Poornima

Hi,

Do not worry about menopause as this is natural course in every women's life where majority of times its normal. regarding urine leak due to sneezing. How much is the amount of leak, severity. Even while sleeping present, social inhibition. graded treatment in form of perineal exercises, medications and small tape insertion can be done if required if previous option fail to improve.
