Suggest Remedy For Vaginismus With Multiple Fibroids
Hi Doc, m 47yrs old suffering with vaginismus for the past 2yrs. Prior to this I never had any pain during sex. About 3yrs back I was diagnosed with yeast infection & treated for the same. Though it reoccurred twice, now I m free of yeast infection. After being infected with yeast infection I have severe pain during sex. Infact my partner is not able to insert his penis into my vagina. It so painful that I push him away. We tried using all kind of lubricant but it doesn t help. I did go to my gyno and informed about the problem but she had no clue as how she could help. She scanned my uterus and showed multiple fibroid.I don t know if there is any growth at the mouth of my uterus. Please help. Appreciate if u could reply as soon as possible.
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. I have gone through your query and would like to offer some suggestions. From your age, it is likely that you may have entered the perimenopause. Infection and the subsequent medication can lead to decrease in the vaginal secretion. You may benefit from the use of lubricants like K-Y jelly. Local causes like erosion or polyp should be excluded. After a hormone assay, estrogen patches may be given if needed. Hope this helps.
