What is a good way to get the seed out of a boil. I had one once before & didn t get it out & it caused MRSA. This one is on my stomach & I have squeezed it a couple of times & I am keeping heat on it. Just can t seem to get the seed out. My daughter gets them a lot & she said she keeps heat on it to pull it out then keeps sqeezing until it finally does. The only thing I seem to be getting out now is clear fluids & blood. But I m scared of getting mrsa again.
hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.
just because you have had mrsa before does not mean you will get it again. so you need to stop worrying about mrsa.
if you are still worried about mrsa you can get a pus culture sensitivity done. it will confirm the organism and the sensitivity.
meanwhile you should start a course of penicillin group antibiotics like amoxyclav for your infection. also apply topical antibacterials like mupirocin.
I would strongly suggest you not to handle your lesions. it introduces new infection, leads to more scarring and can also cause irritant dermatitis.
I suggest you see your dermatologist can get a prescription for the above antibiotics.
hope this has solved your query. for any further queries please get back to us. thanks.
