General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
I understand your concern.
Thrush is oral infection by candida albicans ( a yeast ). If your problem is not resolving with repeated course of medication, you should consult a gastroenterologist for deeper examination by endoscopy, & give you oral medications ( flucanozole,/ infraconazole/ amphoterisesne B along with lacto Basilius preparation orally & local application of liquid/ ointment)
- sex with condom aggravating it suggests possibility of infection in male partner also, which can cause reinfection after oral sex/ kissing.
In such acse simultaneous treatment of sex partner/ avois sex till complete cure are advised.
Thanks.
