Hello Doctor. I am a 26 yr old male, just had a minor surgery which included removal of polyps (nose) and tonsils. its already been a week. Is it safe to consume pain killers. as i still have trouble in swalloing food. But i do not want to! what do you recommend?
Yes...you can consume pain killers only if you feel pain only..otherwise you can skip these medicine. initially after tonsils surgery most of patients have difficulty in swallowing problem due to pain at surgical site. i want to know , are u using only pain killers or some antibiotics. becoz antibiotics and pain killer are necessary for one week after surgery to avoid complication of surgery.
