I can understand tour concern.
You have
constipation for which you are taking laxative.
Here are few suggestion that help you in relieving it.
In your routine day take more water and fruit juices.
Avoid fried and fatty food in excess.
Avoid
smoking.
Regularly do 30 minute exercisr.like running , jogging , cycling etc.
Take fiber containing diet more like wheat bran, whole grain , apple , beans, banana etc.
Avoid gas forming food like cabbage or cauliflower.
Chamomile in tea or ginger tea is useful.
Digestive enzyme and fiber supplement can be taken.
Aloe vera containing juice useful herbal remedy.
Mostly with these measures you can replace laxative use.
If still problem I will advise to perform
ultrasound examination of abdomen.
