This morning I hqad difficulty swallowing a capsule. Afterward i swallowed 2 more pills without any trouble. My drank my breakfast afterward which was an Isagenix shake. I feel like there is gas built up in my esophogus and can t get rid of it. This has happened before when taking pills and vitamins at night. It goes away in the morning after eating breakfast. anyway to get rid of it now? I laid down for about an hour but it still feels strange. I am female, 62, can breath okay but just do not feel right. Your help will be appreciated.
There's is a possibility of oesophagal irritation which may cause mucosal erosion. Other possibilities like acid reflux or drug irritation etc. Take soft alkaline drinks, avoid spicy food.
Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
