Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,

Any headache which is sudden and increasing with posture and cough requires evaluation. In pregnancy headache can be due to causes like blood pressure, dehydration or pregnancy prone clotting of veins in the brain called venous thrombosis can be the problems. I personally feel you need to see a Neurologist at the earliest and get detailed evaluation done to rule out serious problems. Safe NSAIDs like paracetamol can be taken for time being for headache.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shiva Kumar R., Neurologist
