Dear Doctors, Good day my name suhail im 26 years old im over weight my height 194 cm and my weigth now 129 KG 8 years ago my weight was 160 i play sports till i reach 113... ayear ago i fall down on my back L4 l5 expload and i lose the feeling on my left leg i do surgery and now its on i just have little numb on my right leg.. please any advice how to lose and be health and if the numb on my leg risky, thank you so much Regards Suhail
Your present BMI is 34.3kg/m2 (BMI=wt in kg/height in meter square)which clearly states that you are obese. Go to a dietician,consult with him and follow a proper diet chart with adequate calorie intake.
I advise you to get some blood tests done Blood sugar levels, Liver function test, Thyroid profile test, Sr.cortisol and ACTH level along with an ultrasonography of the whole abdomen.
I would also suggest you to go and consult with a bariatric surgeon.
Coming to your right leg numbness,it is due to injury to the L4,L5 vertebrae which can be relieved by physiotherapy along with some nerve supplements containing gabapentin.
Take care, Avoid junk food and carbonated drinks totally.
