Psychiatrist 's  Response
hi. thanks for writing. i have understood your concerns..

Life is full of problems and everyone has problems. these problems and stressors are the cause for the majority of psychiatric problems.

whatever you are experiencing right now is reactive to your stress. if your problems will be resolved then you will be completely alright. whatever you have described here are the symptoms of depression.

you have also mentioned about premenstrual tension. many women have mood changes, hot flushes, irritability, fatigue, lethargy and other symptoms before starting of the menstrual period. some of them have mild symptoms that do not occur with every menstrual period which is called as premenstrual syndrome and it does not require any treatment, while some have very severe symptoms and these continues for more than three consecutive cycles, which is a premenstrual dysphoric disorder [PMDD]. that is severe and require treatment.read about this and try to identify your problems.

in my opinion you shud consult a psychiatrist and tell all the problems and stress. he will guide you through the treatment. you can also undergo CBT that is a type of psychotherapy which is very effective for depression. drugs will benefit you and help you to cope with stress.

also talk about your premenstrual tension with your psychiatrist. there are drugs which can be used to control them..

i hope this advice will be helpful to you,,best of luck..
