Hello thanks for asking from Health Care Magic

There are many risk factors in her life like menopausal age, daughter left home, migration from one city to another. All these risk factors are increasing the risk of menopausal syndrome and depression. In some females hormonal therapy helps in correcting the mood but there are many risk factors associated with hormonal therapy so it is not commonly used. I would advise you to consult a good psychiatrist for her. Medicines like Duloxetine, Milnacipran, Venlafaxine etc are very effective in controlling mood swings and depression associated with menopausal syndrome.

Exercise and yoga will also help in correcting her mood. Consult a psychiatrist for prescription of medicines.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
