Hello! I am extremely sorry to hear your plight & wish you a speedy resolution of your problems! First & foremost you need to understand is; in your case, your significant problems on personal front (abusive spouse, having to look after child as a single mother & possibly monetary problems also) are acting as STRESSORS for you leading to feelings like hopelessness. So long as you are able to garner support of your parents, other family members or any significant other person & in addition seek help of a Psychologist/counselor/certified marriage counselor to resolve the causes of marital discord; many of your current set of symptoms will begin to resolve. Secondly you should also consult a Psychiatrist for your detailed evaluation of signs/symptoms of depression & need to prescribe any antidepressant or anxiolytic etc. based on your clinical profile. Best wishes
