Suggest Remedy To Reduce Recurring UTI With E Coli Infections
Hi.. Hi.. I am a 44 year old lady, height 5.2 feet and weight 60 kgs. I have been getting repeated UTI with E Coli infection; despite maintaining very good hygeine. I am resistant to most oral drugs and sensitive to all the intraveinous ones. My doctor has however treated me with Augmentine which I was sensitive to. What could be the reason? Is it early onset of Menopause or diabetes? My sugar levels are normal. My hb count is slightly low at 11.6. I live in India and am looking for Cranberry supplements here as it is difficult to import it all the time. Please could you help. Regards...Smita Toppo
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Most common cause of recurrent urinary tract infection is diabetes. You should check your hba1c level and sugar test. You should go for culture and sensitivity test and take antibiotics treatment according to sensitivity. Low hemoglobin has no relation with that. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
