Suggest Remedy To Relieve Pain From 4th And 5th Costal Joints

My mother is suffering from chest pain assumed by Doctors as chostochondritis. Her pains originate from 4th and 5th left chostal joints and left ribs extending upto left hand elbow and shouldier,and also have swelling,she is hypothyroidism patient,also have gastric troubles, gall bladder operated. Please suggest treatment.
