Suggest Remedy To Stop Smoker's Cough During Pregnancy

Hi im 35 weeks pregnant & yes i am a smoker i know its really bad &ive tryed giving up i have cut down alot tho. But last few days ive had really bad smokers cough i cough so much it makes me sick & i cant stop coughing. Is there anything i can take for this ive tryed honey & lemon in hotwater but that just makes me sick even more please help.

HELLO MAM. if you just left your smoke for few months before the reason for cough is not the smoking ... it may be some other allergic or viral issue... please go to local doctor and you should have an xray to know the status of your lung and should have some lab test like cbp, esr for the reason for your cough...
we have pretty good drugs starting with cetrizine, rotacaps , and nebulizers to ease other upper respiratory tract symptoms. and anti cough lozenges are also available as over the counter drugs.
my advice is consult a doctor to know the reason for your cough bcoz i can read your symptoms only and cant examine.
