Suggest Remedy To Terminate Pregnancy
I have been taking cytotec for a week to do a abortion. 4 tablets per day. But still not bleeding yet and urine test show pregnancy positive but ultrasound couldn t detect any sign of pregnancy. Can you give any suggestion? Remark our country i illegal for abortion

You have not informed what is the duration of your pregnancy. In very early stage, the ultrasound may not show the pregnancy. Moreover, it takes about a week to 10 days for the pregnancy test to become negative after abortion. So you cannot rely on the pregnancy test. If the uterus is empty, you must have aborted already. But you did not have any bleeding. So I would advise you to get ultrasonography repeated vaginally which will give more clear and closer view.
If vaginal ultrasonography shows that the pregnancy is still present in the uterus, it means cytotec has failed. In that case you will have to get the uterus evacuated by MVA syringe. Cytotec is known to cause developmental abnormalities in the baby and hence such pregnancy should not be continued.
In fact, Cytotec act best to terminate the pregnancy if taken 24-48 weeks after Tab. Mifepristone. This is a good regime to terminate the pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation.
