Hi, I m from the Philippines, and I have a sensitive oily skin. Just want to ask what is the best product to treat my acne? I been searching the net and so far I ve read good reviews with regard to Lactoferrin products and praventac; so, just want to ask if you as a doctor would recommend this?
Hi. As per your case history of acne, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Avoid sun exposure and avoid using cosmetic products. 3. Use a deep cleansing face wash like Acwash twice daily and apply clindamycin gel like Glocin twice daily on pimples. 4. Other treatment options are oral doxycyline, minocycline and isotretinoin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
