Suggest Safe Medicine For Runny Nose, Watery Eyes And Sneezing
Hi,my daughter is 20 now.She is suffering from allergy(running nose, watering eyes and sneezing all the time). So one doctor suggested to take odimont-lc.She has been taking this for the past 1 month but she also feels drowsiness for the whole day.As she has exams to come ,kindly suggest as per the need.
Allergy should have subsided by now as your daughter has taken medicine for a month. I would suggest you following things: > Observe what particular things is causing allergy. It could be from dust, pollen or particular food. This is very important for long term management. > Take cetirizine one at night for 5 days. (sedation will only occur at night) > Take montelukast one daily for one month. Research has shown that it decreases the allergic symptoms considerably.
I would also suggest her to under go allergy testing at allergy clinic if it does not subside. It will tell that her that she is allergic to what specific thing. The results will help an allergist to prescribe you immunotherapy to that specific allergen and it will improve the problem.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. Wishing her good health.
