Hi,
Iviglob injection contains human normal immunoglobulin which is used in the enhancement of human body's natural immune system for reducing the risk of infections. It is produced by healthy human blood which contains high level of specific
antibodies that have ability to combat infections. Side effects of Iviglob are nausea, vomiting, headache, flushing,
muscle cramps,
back pain, joint pain, decreased blood pressure, slow
heart rate, chills, cough, symptoms of allergic reactions such as itching, rashes, swelling of eyes, lips, tongue, throat, hands or feet, breathing difficulties, wheezing,
dizziness etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother your child, then you should consult your child specialist and follow his advice. If he thinks that some further investigations like dengue test should be done, then your child specialist may advise to do so.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Zubayer Alam, General And Family Physician
