Suggest Side Effects Of Paxidep Cr 25 & Lamitor Od 50

I am 21 years old. I was prescribed some medicine for depression when i was 16. Due to recurrence of depression i was prescribed paxidep cr 25 and lamitor od 50. I am taking these medicines since then. Would i have to take these medicines life long? Are there any side effects of these medicines?

Paxidep CR 25 mg contains paroxetine which belongs to the class of antidepressant medications known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) is used in the treatment of depression, anxiety associated disorders such as panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder or post traumatic stress disorder. Side effects of Paxidep CR are nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, increased sweating, headache, fatigue, fatigue, dry mouth, dizziness, nervousness, tremor, confusion, constipation, erectile dysfunction, delayed ejaculation, decreased libido, weakness, changes in body weight, allergic reactions etc.

Lamitor OD 50 contains lamotrigine that belongs to the group of medications known as anti-epiletic medications is used in the treatment of epilepsy, bipolar disorder etc. Side effects of Lamitor OD 50 are nausea, vomiting, headache, dry mouth, changes in sleep pattern, abdominal pain, back pain, dizziness, blurred vision, impaired coordination, stuffy nose, allergic reactions etc.

Dosage and duration of these medications depend on patient's mental condition and response to the treatment. Despite having these side effects, you should not stop taking these medications without consulting your doctor first.
