Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

I can understand your concern for the keloid on the central chest.

It is quite common to find keloids on chest in African and Asiatic people.

For the treatment of the same I suggest you to meet a dermatologist. There is a simple therapy known as intralesional injection with triamcinolone. This is a simple steroid preparations and is given in the base of the keloid so that it becomes flattend in 3-4 weeks.

DO not try to get it operated as it increases in size and may become doubled after operation.

You can apply a cream containing Allantoin 1 g, cepae extract 10 g, sodium heparin over the affected area of keloid to reduce its size.

All the best.
