my sister is suffering from for past 20yrs. she is undergoing a doctors course from starting stage of fits. we need to know whether there is a good solution for this disease. Please give me a suggestion to cure. if required we will be consulting you directly

I would suggest you to 1. Go for Tab Sodium valproate (200mg) 1 tab thrice daily to start with. 2. If she is already having a drug.. i wud consider adding Tab Levetiracetam (500mg) 1 tab twice daily. 3. Meanwhile get an EEG and MRI brain done.
Most seizure are well controlled with drugs, but regular intake and adherence to treatment is a must.
Visit a neurologist as soon its convinient for you. He/she can examine her and correlate clinically. Do not worry much. Post any other query and i shall be happy to help.
I need to know the types of seizures, frequency of seizures and current medications of seizures. Also need MRI Brain and EEG test done. Your Medicines need to be kept which do best control of seizures with least/none side effects. Epilepsy is a controllable disease.
