Suggest Test To Check Hormonal Levels

Hi, I am 33 years old, mother of one daughter (5 years old). I am having issues controlling my emotions and feel that it might be a hormonal imbalance problem. I have had these issues when I was a teenager and started my menstrual cycles and mainly after my daughter's birth.
Earlier I was prone to these episodes a week before my periods, but now it is mid cycle. I have very regular periods.

During these episodes, I get extremely sensitive, unwanted and get very hurt by small incidents in life and blame and fight badly with my near and dear ones for small things they say or do, which I would ignore during other days. I am a very loving and caring person, but I hurt my dear ones during this time. I otherwise live a very happy and normal life.

I recently got many blood tests done and have identified that I am low in Iron, B-12 and Potassium, and my hemoglobin level was 8.8 as per the last report and stated as anemic. I have started taking supplements for Iron, B complex, Potassium and Vitamin C for the last 1.5 months. I still don't seem to have a positive effect and have just encountered another bad episode.

I drink liquor occasionally (once a week) and that too very moderately. I however do chew tobacco (2-3 times a day) I don't swallow it but spit it out after a few minutes, I feel it helps in digestion. I have tried quitting tobacco twice and recently I left it one month back. But I am planning to start it again and reduce the quantity and than gradually stop it, as it could be related to some extent. However I did face these issues, even when I was chewing tobacco, so I am not sure.

I want to know what's wrong with me and assume that it is due to hormonal imbalances. Is my assumption correct ?

If yes, what tests I can do to check my hormonal levels and what medication / food can treat me.

Looking forward for your advice.

Regards,
Disha.
