Suggest Tests For Burning Sensation In Oesophagus

Hi,Since last couple of months i have burning sensations in food pipe and around hear area after my meals…though i eat mostly light meals,earlier the burning was not this frequent,now a days it is almost everyday, Is it any kind of ulcer? kindly suggest what are the tests which i can go for ? Thanks Shraddha

You have problem of burning sensation in oesophagus that may be because of gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Infection of oesophagus called oesophagitus may cause burning sensation .

Hiatus hernia that cause more acid back flow towards oesophagus that may cause burning sensation in oesophagus.

Achalasia means end of oesophagus not properly open so it cause food collection aroun the junction.

Endoscope is helpful for diagnosis.
