Suggest Tests To Confirm HIV

I thought I kept having bv but it was negative now I'm having yeast symptoms and I had unprotected sec in the end of nov..I treated my yeast and still coming back. I was sick for awhile in the dr said it was a virus going around. My husband was Check3: in fen and it was neg. I'm scarred I have HIV and just has not shown up. I keep getting yeast infections and blood sugar was 112

thank you for query.There are tests for Viral RNA identification (RNA PCR), Antigen of HIV (P24 ag), Antibodies for HIV (ELISA), DUO(tests P24 ag and antibody),western blot etc.
It depends on the stage of infection of the person.
PCR will be useful in the early stage of infection even in the window period.
Later P 24 ag will be positive later.
Antibodies will be positive after bodies have formed against HIV so later after the window period.
