Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had years of some of these symtoms coming and going, with some changing when a medication that I had been complaining about for years was changed. Now the MD that I am seeing suggests that I have arthritis. I have seen arthritis in others, my complaints seem a little more related to MS. I am 74 and have had a number of years of gradual creeping in of problems until recently .Now the pain is getting outstanding. How do I ask for the tests that will tell me IF I have MS or not ?
hi Best course would be to consult a neurologist.MS is usually diagnosed by MRI of brain and spinal cord.it has widespread effects in body areas, it doesnt seem to be your case when your doctor has said arthritis.
