my wife has H- plory +ive. i went the doctor he has given her Amoxi 1000 mg for 10 days twice a day morning and night, using before meal the doctor also has given to my wife claritek for 10 days twic a day using half of the medicine morning and evening after meal and also has given to my wife improzole each morning befor meal pleae give me direction regarding this treatment
You have to continue at least triple-drug regimen: full dose proton pump inhibitor, with amoxicillin and either clarithromycin or (in the case of penicillin hypersensitivity) metronidazole and clarithromycin.
After completing the treatment you may take the urea breath test and urease test to confirm it.
Please consult your treating doctor he will examine and advice accordingly.
