Suggest The Effective HIV Comfirmative Test
Hi....I had exposure to hiv probably...due to breakge of condom during sex with a prostitute...This happened on the 18 of march, 2011....is there any test that can help me get confirmation if i got infected or not ...I read about PCR test which gives 98%accurate results if taken after 28 days of exposure...please advice

thank you for query.the dates are too old (2011 year).By now you already have results.3 years all your tests like ELISA for antibodies and PCR and viral counts will be positive if done now if you have HIV disease.You can get back to me for any clarifications .Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
