Rosuvastatin is found superior to atorvastatin , in less doses , its usually given in half doses as compared to atorvastatin .it effectively lowers the blood cholesrtrol levels . it takes about 3 months for the medicines to be effective .
in post ptca or cabg patient its prescribed for life time.
