Best is remove the contact lens and put it in solution provided to keep it sterile. Now can apply artificial tear drop. for the time being use specs. next morning again put your contact lens as usual. Nothing will happen.
No there is no chance of infection. Remove the contact lens and put in sterile solution provided to you. Apply artificial tear eye drop 3times. Next morning again put on contact lens. Nothing will happen. If there is redness or irritation then show it to eye doctor. constant use of contact lens can result in dry eye resulting in corneal erosion. Soit is always to be removed at bed time.
