Suggest The Remedy To Get Rid Of The Mucus Coming Out Of Earring Holes

For the past few weeks mucus has been constantly coming out of the earring holes on both of my ears. (I've had this ear pierced for many years and have never had this problem before) I don't recall stabbing myself with an earring beforehand(let alone being both of my ears at the same time), but I wear cheap earrings. Anyway, I was wondering if there's anyway solutions?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your query mucous draining from your ears is due to allergic reaction with the metal that is used in the earring and as you do not wear gold earring which is an inert metal, the other metals react when exposed to air and water and causes allergic reaction and infection over the skin and it is the cause in your case..
I would suggest you to gently remove the earrings, clear the areas with povidone iodine [betadine] and apply triple antibiotic ointment.
Do it twice a day...
It will resolve in 3 to 4 days, but I will suggest you to wear gold or plastic earrings as they will not cause this problem due to non-reacting nature..
