Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear Doctor Keerthi, I m writing from Rome and I m the grand-ma to a little girl Chiara, 6 years old. Everything OK up till 3 years old. Diagnosis for the moment: Spastic paraplegy. She is very intelligent in the school. BUT the VERY STRANGE thing is that the girl walks well in the morning and DOES NOT work in the afternoon. We hold her under her arms and she walks on the foot-tops. I have read about Kawasa or distony dopasensible (GTPCH). Can a person with spastic paraplegy walk very well in the morning and not at all in the afternoon or does she ALWAYS walk the same? IN EACH case shall we do a DNA search?? THANK YOU SO MUCH
