Suggest Tips To Remain Healthy After Suffering From Heart Attack

i have stoped smoking for 70 days. I am using the treadmill and eliptical 5 miles a day every day and lifting weights. i am 53 years old and had smoked for 40 years and have had 1 heart attack. i know have a stent but i feel great. Any tips on my health

In your case major concerns are---- you have smoked for 40 years, so the bad effect of nicotine is there in your blood vessels, you can try to minimize it. one way to do is to never start smoking again, other way is not to be a passive smoker - do not go near anyone who is smoking, as passive smoker also get almost 50% bad effect as smoker.
On the other hand keep up your physical activity.
The other important tip I would suggest is that - you take care of your diet --- keep salt to the minimum, avoid raw salt on salads or otherwise, keep away for hard fats, use average amount of unsaturated fats, normal routine of sleep and stress to the minimum.
And yes do not forget to take the preventive medicines religiously written by your cardiologist.
