I understand your concern.
Low lying placenta is placental position in lower segment of
uterus.This position is point of concern because of possible occurrence placenta previa-
However placental position can not be decided/shifted by treatment. incidental y diet/exercises.
But, Possible relief is , as you are still in 13th week of
pregnancy, it can shift up & reach a comparatively safe position till you reach 20 th week of pregnancy. So don't be tense.
Inst'ed you have to be careful in your diet,movements, bowel habits, avoiding exertion- this will avoid possible exertion with rise in abdominal pressure &
stress to the low lying placenta may lead to bleeding. This precaution needed till next USG declares safe position of placenta, if not you need to continue the precautions/ rest till term.They are-
- Have diet with high protein, optimum
carbohydrate, vitamin,iron,calcium rich. Special care about having high fibers & 10-12 glasses of water would prevent
constipation.( milk, sprouts, salads, fruits, brown bread,avoid processed food.)
- 24 KM travel /day is not advisable- not at all with bike. You must travel with comfort/ avoiding bumps/ jerks on the road. You can take a leave from your work/ change your residence nearer to your office.
- avoid lifting weight/ any excessive stress.
- Take rest for 8 hours in night & 1 hour relaxing in noon)
- Be positive.
