hi dr, my 14 yr old dtr has been playing trombone since she was 10. last year her pedetrician noticed a bump on her bottom lip - she cant remember how it got there but says it's been there as long as she remembers. he mentioned cancer and surgery which scared us. he said we could watch it and see if it goes down. over a year later, its still looks exactly the same - what should we do?
Hi, you should then go back and get it removed so that there is no doubt as to what it is. Why do you want to wait? Let your Doctor evaluate it completely and please follow the treatment advised. I can comment further only after examining the patient. So I would suggest you follow the Doctors advice. Take care, Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
