Suggest Treatment For Bacterial Gastroentities

Hi, I have my 15 months old son suffering from Bacterial Gastroentities (As mentioned by Doctor), He is suffering from this since last 8 days, previous doctor diagnosed Viral Diarhea, and prescribed Nutrolin & Vibact sachets, still my kid s condition did not improve, We had his regular stool test done & found some infection interms of mucus & pus. We consulted some other doctor & he prescribed Oflox 100 syrup, Still my kid is having watery stools & his food intake is redused (which is a bit worrying) Can you please guide?

Hi, welcome to HCM.
Since, your child has loose stools for 8 days, this is definitely not viral diarrhea. It seems that your child has probably bacterial infection as suggested by stool report.
Continue oflox syrup and ORS solution, it takes 2 to 3 days for the child to respond. Till then give ORS and adequate liquid diet to prevent .
