My mom has Brown sequard syndrome and has been stable on several nerve and pain mess for years. Tonite she is having some mild abdominal fullness, muscle cramping/spasms in legs and neck, and slightly nauseated. No new mess on board. Any ideas? Been eating and drinking fine. Just came on this evening.
You should know that Brown sequard Syndrome is a damage of the spinal column. It can not cause such symptoms, as it is a past lesion. For this reason, I recommend bringing your mother to the ER and having some tests to investigate for the possible causes of her symptoms: - an abdominal ultrasound - blood electrolytes for possible imbalance - complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation. Hope you will find this answer helpful!
