Suggest Treatment For Citrobacker Koseri Infection In Eye
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I was diognosed with Citrobacker Koseri in my left eye, which perferated my cornea, which led to loss of vision. I need to know if this had been diagnosed within the first 12 hour range of symptoms ,whether or not that would of made a difference in the outcome. The culture was not taken until 72 hours later by another optomolist specialist.which ordered this culture testing immediatly when they suspected a possible bacterial infection.. Can you please give your opinion on this....I know this is rather a rare infection for the eye, but that is why I am doing follow up to better understand this.
it is gram negative cauliform bacteria is anorobic. most important is diagnosis and early treatment.problem is resistant to antibiotic. secondly it generaly effect urinary tract, eye is very rare invovment. culture sensitivity and treatment with rcomanded antibiotic is only option.
